Production & Restocking

PRODUCTION
All Retreat pieces are made locally here in Los Angeles. Sweatsets are hand-sewn and dyed then custom silk screen printed and embroidered. Ready-to-wear pieces are constructed by hand by expert sewers and seamstresses using the most premium materials & techniques. We operate on a small-batch basis meaning that we produce in extremely limited quantities in an effort to minimize waste and create sustainably. Our production facilities adhere to our standard of fair, safe, and healthy working conditions, and our experienced seamstresses, dyers, and embroiderers are all compensated a fair living and working wage.

RESTOCKING
All items are made in extremely limited quantities. Once sold out, items may not be restocked. Register your email with The Retreat to be notified for future collections, important updates and restocks.

Shipping & Delivery

ORDER PROCESS
The Retreat produces in limited quantities to gauge future production based on demand as an effort to be friendly to the environment. Our order structure prevents over-production with the goal of reducing waste and producing only what’s necessary. We appreciate your patience and support of The Retreat’s efforts to be environmentally and ethically responsible.

USA SHIPPING
Please allow 5-7 business days for orders to be processed upon purchase date. Orders placed are processed Monday-Friday only, excluding major holidays. Delivery times are provided as a guideline, and do not take into account potential delays caused by stock availability/payment processing. Shipping confirmation will be sent via email with tracking information as soon as it becomes available.

USA SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS
All orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS. To estimate shipping and tax fees, select state and zip code upon checkout. The Retreat is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays due to forces of nature or other uncontrollable events.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders include orders that are shipped beyond the U.S. International orders will be shipped via UPS Worldwide. Shipping costs and time may vary based on location.

TAXES & DUTIES
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to local taxes, customs, duties and fees per the destination country. The recipient of the shipment is responsible for all of these aforementioned Import Fees. If a package is refused, the purchaser is responsible for the original purchase and shipping charges, any Import Fees, any subsequent charges incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the parcel. 

Returns & Exchanges

RETURN POLICY
We currently offer returns for store credit or exchanges. If you would like to return or exchange an item purchased, please send us a request for a return authorization within 14 days of delivery date to info@shoptheretreat.com with your order number in the subject line. All returns must be shipped back to us within 7 days of the request approval.

- Items returned must be in new & unused condition, with all original packaging and tags attached, including the sanitary lining in bodysuits and unitards.
- Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges on clothing that has been worn or used.
- Returns should be sent back with any additional gifts included with your purchase. If gifts are unreturned, you will be charged for these items and they will be deducted from your refund.
- Shipping charges cannot be refunded.
- We reserve the right to refuse any returns which do not meet our return policy requirements or are sent back without return approval.

STORE CREDIT
Store credit is issued in the form of an e-gift certificate. You can use your unique gift certificate code for payment at checkout on your next order with The Retreat. Our store credit does not expire.

EXCHANGES
We accommodate exchanges for items in the same style in a different size or color. For a different style, please return your original item(s) and place a new order online separately using your store credit issued. Exchanges are only processed upon receipt of the returned item(s) and are based on stock availability. Please note that The Retreat’s products are made in limited quantities, so we may not carry stock of our products.

The Retreat does not cover exchange shipping back to us and is not responsible for any items lost in transit, so we recommend that all exchanges are sent back using tracking. We do cover the shipping of the item exchanged for, and once your exchange item is received, we will notify you of your new tracking as soon as possible.

DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If an item received is damaged, defective, or the incorrect size, please contact customer support immediately at info@shoptheretreat.com and we will correct your order.
