Antique Victorian reed wicker high back chair with a musical lyre design woven into the back.
Featuring a beautiful serpentine roll, intricate weave patterns and braided reeds. VERY sturdy and durable!

The seat was replaced/reinforced in the mid-1900s with a solid wood, making it sturdier with no potential of damaging or tearing the rattan but retains its original natural finish. A light wax-seal coating adds subtle shine while also acting as a protective layer to the wicker, preventing its from getting caught on things.
